Learn to design & build a robot for the 2026-27 VEX IQ Competition
NOTE: You will need access to a VEX IQ kit and field for this camp
Most schools will let you borrow theirs, but if you need time to check, just sign up now and let me know if you can't get access.
I will give you a full refund (just tell me before May 1)
Refund policy: If you cancel before May 1, 2026, you may receive a full refund, cancellations received after May 1 may not be refunded.
This camp is online, so students from across the world can participate.
When you register, you will get access to our camp website. This will have camp recordings, zoom links, resources, and more.
Yes! The camp is recorded and posted privately on the camp webpage.
You will have access to the camp recordings as long as you need it.
Yes! Many schools will register their teams for camp. Registration cost is per team (not per student), which significantly reduces the price for a school.
If you need an invoice to submit for a PO, just email me at ben@roboticsmastery.com
Note: This is the expected camp schedule.
Not all students will hit all milestones on time: students that don't fully participate tend to fall behind
DAY 1
Students learn about strategic design, drivetrain construction, and basic mechanism construction. Students end day 1 with a plan for the robot and have started building the drivebase.
DAY 2
Students learn about basic mechanisms specifically geared for the 2026-27 VEX IQ Competition. They finish building the drivebase and begin adding mechanisms they've selected in the strategic design phase.
DAY 3
Students continue to learn about more advanced mechanisms, and also begin to learn about code. Students learn how to code their robots to automate simple tasks, allowing them to focus on driving.
DAY 4
Students finalize their robots and begin coding programming skills. Students that have already finished building will code their robots, while students who need more time will finish building.
DAY 5
Day 5 is a full-on tournament where students get to test out the robots they built in a competitive setting. This competition also gives students a chance to fix and refine their robot for real tournaments.
All camps are full-day camps
